Which are our services

Our main service is the Image Editor. We provide the Image Editor as a “software as a service”. Our goal is to provide 3rd party web sites and applications with image editing feature. Our users are mainly web/software developers or people who own web sites/applications.

In order to use our Image Editor we require you to register in our Control Panel.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Emails

When you register at Pixo to get access to the API, we collect your email address for the following purposes:

  • to verify that the person initiating the registration is really you
  • to provide you way to recover your password (we sent you confirmation email)
  • to send you invoices for your Pixo usage

IP address

We keep each visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string on every opening of the Image Editor to help spam detection.

Media

Images edited with the Image Editor are never stored on our servers. All images are loaded in the browser and returned after editing as base64 data. We do not keep images on our servers, neither extract any data (EXIF, etc.) from them.

Contact forms

Contact forms are sent over email. None of the personal data provided in the forms is kept in the database servers.

Cookies

When you register in the Control Panel you may opt-in to save your login credentials (email address and password) in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you visit the Control Panel. These cookies will last for one year.

Analytics

Thanks to these cookies, we monitor the visit to our site and we can analyze how easily our users work with it (Google Analytics cookies). These cookies do not give us any information about your personal data. They show us which pages of our site you viewed, whether you visited our site via a mobile or desktop device, and other anonymous data. For Google Analytics, we also use anonymizing IP addresses using _anonymizeip. The maximum period we keep analytical data in Google Analytics is 50 months.

We do not share any data we collect. We respect privacy and we treat personal data with respect.

How long we retain your data

When you register in our Control Panel, we store the personal information you provide in your user profile. You can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time.

What rights you have over your data

If you have a registration in the Control Panel, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Your personal data is stored on the servers of companies we hire to provide our services to you.

Occasionally, we may change this Privacy Policy to allow Bookit EOOD to use or share your personal information in a different way. If we do, the links to the Policy on our websites and services (which are generally found in the footer of the website) will indicate that the Policy has been changed. For new users, the change will become effective upon posting. For existing users, if the change is significant, it will become effective 30 days after posting.
